“Two men looked out through prison bars,
One saw mud the other saw stars”.
This has been something I have lived by
since I was 16 years old, I saw it in a
Readers Digest.
I liked the idea to look up to the stars
not only are they pretty to look at
they light up the night sky.
Astronomers study them, take them
seriously. Lovers gaze at them.
Promising their promises
You can find where the “Dark Sky”
places are, there to lay on your
back and look up and see
the Milky Way.
What a brilliant way
to end your day.
Seeing stars by the million...
Where ever you are,
whatever you do
remember to look up
and see the stars.
