It was shock, horror and “shall we go?”

29th April, 1953, the Queen opened

her doors to the public at

Buckingham Palace.

She did not wear an apron

or serve tea and cakes!!

The opening was a huge

success!

Fair Lady”, opened in London at

Drury Lane Theatre, we were

Introduced to Professor Higgins who
